VPI-CW   Indicator for panel mounting
With firmware version for managing systems weighing packages on a conveyor belt, through static or dynamic weighing and tolerance control. Thanks to the high conversion and acquisition performances (programmable up to 800 conversions/sec) and to the advanced filtering functions, it's possible to weigh and store the data of multiple packs/min.

    General main features
  • easy to use 25-key waterproof keypad, IP65
  • Programmable function keys, for customising the keyboard functions according to the needs
  • alphanumeric backlit graphic display with clearly readable data like weight and automation status
  • synoptic bar graph with 16 bright indication leds showing the active functions.
  • anodised aluminium case according to din standards, 202 x 105 x 148 mm, template for mounting on a board; frontpanel IP65
  • time/date and permanent memory data also in case of mains power interruption
  • calibration and parameter set-up, configurable from the indicator's keypad; theoretical calibration with entry of the characteristics of the load cells
  • up to 10.000e or multirange 3 x 3000e @ 0,3 µv/d CE-M legal for trade
  • up to displayable 1.000.000d for internal factory use, internal resolution up to 3.000.000 points
  • A/D 24 bit sigma-delta 4-channel conversion, up to 200 conv./sec. with automatic selection; connectable with up to 8 analog load cells with 350 Ω input resistance
  • management up to 4 independent scales or digital equalisation of the 4 channels
  • exclusive power unit (8 Vdc to 40 Vdc and upon request, 100-240 Vac)
  • 2x RS-232/C, 16x 0,5A 48Vac/1A 24 Vdc optoisolated outputs, 8 optoisolated inputs (depending from application and firmware)
  • connector for (label)printer(s)

    FUNCTIONS
  • static or dynamic weighing, with management of pack detection photo cell
  • dynamic weighing with two START/STOP photo cells
  • static or dynamic weighing without photo cell (for Pick and Place lines)
  • tolerance check:
    - by target, through articles database, with setting of 3 tolerance thresholds, for the physical division of the packs into 7 different groups
    - by programmable weight thresholds (min/max), with articles dabatase
    - by weight thresholds (min/max), through a quickly entry.
  • calculation and printing of the statistics and of the standard deviation of the executed weighs
  • static or dynamic autozero function of the belt (up to 2% of the flow) after a programmable number of weighs
  • advanced management of bar codes, with the possibility of storing, processing, and printing 5 different codes
  • automatic printing/clearing of the partial total after a programmable number of weighs
  • printing with each executed weigh and eventual automatic storage into the alibi memory
  • completely programmable printouts, for compatibility with any ASCII printer manageable through the serial port
  • database of 1000 articles with alphanumeric description, target and programmable tolerance thresholds
  • setting the density coefficient, for every article, for weighing in ml
  • programmable preset tare and activation delay of the expeller for each article
  • management of belt speed through analogue output, with programmable value for articles
  • article selection through reading of bar code

    I/O functions:
  • cycle activation, RESTART / RESET cycle and START / STOP weigh through external inputs
  • management, through a cadence photo cell, of the cadence belt, for optimising the number of packs per minute weighed by the instrument
  • management of the automatic expulsion or stopping of the belts for manual expulsion or weight correction
  • programmable alarm activation time and tolerance indication; possibility of connection to control light
  • activation of the line second speed through an external input, with automatic recalculation of the weighing time (only for weighing with two photo cells)
  • analogue output (optional) proportional to the weight or managing the belt speed, with programmable values for each article
  • serial communication protocol for programming the articles and managing the cycle
